"Another plant that has self-seeded in the garden from elsewhere is Orange Hawkweed, also known as Fox and Cubs, so called because of the way that one foxy orange coloured flower blooms first with the other buds forming a tight collar around it. Hoverflies, such as this pair of marmalade hoverflies, and solitary bees love it for the pollen it provides them. I love it for its fantastic colour, which is such a great contrast against green."
